We encourage feedback from our patients, and it is advisable that you express your concerns before you leave the facility so we can fix any problems for you. The nurse looking after you is a good start but if you remain concerned, please ask to speak to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services.
Complaints can be made by writing a letter to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Ramsay Surgical Centre Cairns, 1st Floor, Corner Florence & Grafton Streets, CAIRNS QLD 4870, or by phoning (07) 4052 5454 or through our patient survey system.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome at the hospital level, you can refer your complaint to the Office of the Health Ombudsman. Call 133 OHO (133 646) or write to / complete the health service complaint form and post to PO Box 13281, George Street, Brisbane QLD 4003.
