After you get home

Follow the instructions given for taking your medications and suggestion for rest and diet.

You will be discharged home with minimal pain or discomfort however should you have any unexpected change to your condition or other emergency, and you have any concerns you should

• Telephone your Surgeon immediately or
• Seek Medical Advise from your GP or
• Attend Cairns Base Hospital Emergency Department

You may receive a follow up phone call from the Day Surgery Nurses the day after your procedure to check your progress.
